One week from today (Feb. 23) we will have the first test of the Second Semester. The test will cover all four sections from Chapter 10, pages 313-333.
As a reminder: STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR NOTES or they will not be allowed to take the test. The test is scheduled to take two days, in this case, Thursday and Friday. If a student does not have their notes Thursday, they may still take the test Friday if they bring their notes. I will NOT give extra time to students that do not bring their notes.

On Tuesday, February 6, I will be assigning students a new classroom policy agreement. I am requiring that both student and parents sign the agreement. Most policies are the same as First Semester. I have made a few changes though, and wanted to make sure everyone knows about them.
This will be one of the first assignments of the semester, and should be an easy way for students to earn 10 points. The policy agreement is due by Friday, February 10. EXTRA CREDIT: I am also offering an extra credit option this semester, like I did for first semester. My classroom is running low on a few important supplies, so I am offering extra credit to students that bring one or more items in. I will give students 1 point extra credit for each type of item brought it (a max of 5 points). Here are the items needed: (Orange items are needed the most). - Highlighters - Copy Paper (not lined paper) - Refill tape rolls -Pencils -Sticky Notes |
